Lapse 2: Before Zero is a new type of an adventure game based on an interactive thriller. It tells a story of a simple man becoming a killer and a fugitive, told by flashbacks before his arrest. You go into his thoughts, as events are shown in reverse chronological order, you learn what happens with him on the run hiding from crimes.

The time travel you’ll experience in this game isn’t just for shooting yourself into the past/future and seeing what it was/will be like, but a mental journey you take each time you go back, and with that new set of baggage, open up endless new bout worlds.
- Ancient Egypt Setting: The game is set in the beautiful, ancient city of Egypt circa 1750 BC. The setting not only looks gorgeous, but it also brings new gameplay systems and rich history to the Civ franchise.

The game’s story develops constantly so that players are not bored for even a minute. Any decision you make will determine new plot developments, and the whole plot is actually very demanding. There are also several layers of symbolism or interpretation.
